Kids nowadays seem to face so many pressures.
It may seem to you at times that things are bleak,
especially if you are having trouble at home or at
school. If you ever feel this way . . .
It doesn't matter who you talk to . .
whether it be a parent, a sibling, a friend,
even a teacher or maybe a minister.
It's just important that you DO TALK to
someone when you are feeling down . .
No one can read minds and people won't
know of your feelings unless . .

Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free
I'm following the path God laid for me.
I took His hand when I heard Him call;
I turned my back on it all

I could not stay another day,
To laugh, to love, to work or play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way;
I found that place at the close of day.

If my parting has left a void,
then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss;
Ah yes, these things, I too will miss.

Be not burdened with times of sorrow,
I wish you sunshine for tomorrow.
My lifes been full, I savored much;
good friends, good times,
A loved ones touch.

Perhaps my time seems all to brief,
don't lengthen it with undue grief.
Lift up your heart and share with me,
God wanted me now, He set me free.

And to the parents . . . no one has ever
really been able to understand the perplexities
of our children. All I can say to you parents
is to BE AWARE of changes in their behavior
or moods . . PLEASE ALWAYS be AVAILABLE to talk
to them or just to LISTEN to them. And yes,
sometimes there might be certain signs to see
but not every child lets those signs show . .
some keep them so bottled in that we NEVER
know of the turmoil deep inside of them.
Just remember . .
